Showcasing technical depth and problem-solving
Built a full Digital Twin simulation engine in 1.5 days. Uses Monte Carlo simulations with stochastic discrete-event simulation to predict revenue, profit, wait times, and abandonment rates across hundreds of scenarios. Features an AI Hypothesis Builder powered by GPT-4o-mini.
Designed and deployed an end-to-end AI-assisted grading and feedback system for PrairieLearn, integrating Gemini, OpenAI, and a secure UBC-hosted LLM. Extended AI-powered assessment into Canvas quizzes via H5P, supporting 100+ enrolled students at UBCO.
Implemented a Transformer model from scratch in PyTorch — multi-head attention, positional encoding, and full training pipelines. Trained on philosophy corpora to analyze representational and cultural bias with controlled experiments comparing attention patterns and convergence behavior.
Developed an AI bot using minimax search with Alpha-Beta pruning and heuristic evaluation. Achieved 3rd place among 23 teams in competitive tournament.
